Self Assessment

Becoming an e-learning course instructor is a huge responsibility; and to be a good instructor, it takes a generous amount of work and effort. We therefore emphasise the need for one to carry out a self assessment. 

If you don’t already have your course content, you should realise that you will have to go through the course design and content creation to ensure that you have a successful and high earning course. This might require you setting aside some time daily for a specified time, sometimes a month or two. You should know that the more time and effort you pour into the course, the higher the chances of your course being accepted by the LearnZA Team, and the more revenue generation potential it will have. This step also allows an instructor to carefully review the instructor plans and see which one best fits their capability and needs.

Complete this self assessment by doing a simple audit to see if you have the time, the energy and resources to dedicate to the online course creation process right away. For some, this might mean waiting out a week or a month to allow a high attention seeking activity and work or in your personal life to pass. This will then set you up for a more successful creative process.  If all checks out after the assessment, proceed to step two. 

Pre Registration Assessment

The LearnZA e-Learning Marketplace Platform maintains global standards of quality in all aspects, including the  technological infrastructure that the platform is built on, user experience of both learners and instructors, as well as the actual content that learners access. The pre registration assessment is a simple online screening tool to validate the instructors readiness to deliver high quality course content that learners are looking for.

A few, anonymous questions are asked that in the form an online questionnaire. The system automatically assess your level of readiness and will either direct you to the payments section if you pass, or recommend some preparatory activity before one can retake the assessment.  

By making the payment, you affirm that you have read the platform terms of and conditions of use and are in agreement. 

Payment for Selected Plan

All payments for instructor membership done online. Currently, the payment prompts will say you are paying to Zwacha Online Trade Limited, which is the parent company and owner of the LearnZA eLearning Marketplace.  As of the time of reading this, we do not accept payments in any other forms other than this. An invoice will be sent to the provided email address comprising of an invoice number.

Take note of this as it will be needed in the next step.  In the event that you are not ready to complete the registration form right away, you can end here and use the link sent to your email whenever you are ready to complete the registration form. 

Instructor Registration

The final step of  becoming an instructor is the filling-in, and submission of the instructor registration form, which is also done online. The forms requests for a few documents to be uploaded for identification purposes and validation of qualifications or certificates.

Ensure that you strictly follow the Built-In Form Guides (notes) while you fill in to avoid entry rejections. You will receive an email with your login credentials upon successful submission. Some additional validation information may be requested for on a case to case basis.
